Decorative Bracket for Bellflower window box (not necessary fro support) 8.5" wide x 12.5" tall.

Mounting #1 One inch wide strip with 1/4" diameter holes is attached to the back of the box 1/2" below the top of the horizontal side bars.

Mounting #2 A mounting strip 4 1/2" below the top of the horizontal side bars.

Mounting #3 These side mounting brackets provide the option of installing your window box at any height in relation to the window.

Procedure for Window box installation:
1. Center window box in center of window.
2. Make sure the box is level (the longer the level you have the better)
3. With the window box where you want it use a Sharpie to mark the holes in the predrilled mounting bar.
4. Remove the box from the wall and use a 1/4" diameter drill bit to drill a hole in the concrete, wood or siding in the center of the mark you made in step 3.
5. Use 1/4" diameter screws or a little smaller.
6. I always recommend using a 12" extension on your drill to screw in the screws. It is a lot faster to run the extension through open design areas of the box instead of trying to get your drill or electric screw driver inside the window box.
7. Tighten screws, step back and enjoy the moment!

Mounting bar options for your window box:
Option #1 This is a one inch wide strip with 1/4" diameter holes is attached to the back of the box 1/2" below the top of the horizontal side bars. The advantage to this method is that all windows have footers which are usually made of wooden 2 x 4's that you can attach to with wood screws.
Option #2 This is a mounting strip 4 1/2" below the top of the horizontal side bars. This configuration allows the window box to be mounted around a protruding window sill. It also lifts the flower box up so the flowers can be more easily seen from the inside of your house. (One word of caution ....if your windows open out it may cause a problem)
Option #3 Side mounting brackets on a window box provide the option of installing your window box at any height in relation to the window.
